Phoinix Development Foundation, Inc.  is a Baton Rouge, Louisiana based nonprofit construction management organization, which was founded after the destruction left behind by hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

We have the capacity to construct commercial infrastructure within communities and provide home ownership opportunities to low and moderate income families throughout the state of Louisiana while ensuring permanent housing affordability through working with existing nonprofits, existing CHDOs or creating new CHDOs when the community demands it. We also use a  Community Land Trust model for site acquisition and approximate 5,000 locally trained contractors and associates for construction design and delivery. 

Our mission is based upon the belief that (1) all working families deserve a home or apartment of their own, and (2) communities with homeowners from a broad socio-economic range are the strongest and most vibrant and (3) education can rebuild a community.
